The inspection is a reasonable effort to
disclose the conditions existing on the day of inspection
- a look at your home with an experienced eye. Most people
purchasing a home hire an inspector. The inspection does not
reveal information on the concealed or inaccessible areas.
Home inspectors are generalist with broad knowledge on many
topics. At Before & After we put our home repair and construction
experience into each inspection to better serve our clients.
The home inspector does a visual inspection and
reports the major deficiencies as well as the good points of
the house being inspected. Inspectors do the best job they can
but limitations do exist, sometimes physical obstructions, weather
conditions, ect. prevent them from doing a complete job, e.g.
a snow covered roof, or concealed areas. An inspection is not
an insurance policy or a warranty against future repairs. The
inspector will never be able to predict every repair or maintenance
item encountered while owning a house. An inspector describes
the house's condition and notes items in need of immediate repair
or replacement at the time of inspection.
BUYING A HOUSE?
When it comes to making one of the largest financial commitments
in your life, you can never know enough about the home you
plan on buying. All homes have strong and weak points and
are not always what they seem. Gain the perspective and sound
information you need to make better decisions with a Before
& After inspection. We work through a very long computer
generated check list of potential concerns to identify the
major and minor deficiencies in the home. We inspect over
400 items of the house including........
Roof
Plumbing
Electrical
Foundation
Windows / Doors
Basements / Crawl Space
Heating / Air Conditioning
Building Exterior
Landscaping
Inspections are done to a generalist's non intrusive visual
standard relying on accessible symptoms, clues and telltale
signs. Additional services such as photos, measurements and
more intensive or specialized inspections are available on
request.
Time is of the essence. Choosing a home inspector within
the limited time constraints of purchase agreement deadlines
is difficult. Before & After makes scheduling your home
inspection easy because we are available to schedule inspections
7 days a week. This allows you to book your inspections, have
it conducted and the report delivered to you within your tight
time frame.
SELLING A HOUSE?
What is the difference between a listing that sell and a
listing that doesn't? Some times the answer is as simple as
a fresh coat of paint, or power washing the house, deck and
property. Before & After Home Inspection services can
perform pre-listing inspection for sellers, helping the listing
stand out, sell faster and for the highest amount possible.
Before & After lets the seller know the condition of the
property and gives recommendations on property enhancements.
The seller can then decide which areas if any to update or
repair
